Ski Mountaineering Resume
Summary:
I have been skiing since 1987, and ski mountaineering and backcountry skiing since the mid 2000s. Living in central Colorado, that involves a lot of low angle touring in the Winter and exploring more technicallines and couloirs in the Spring when avalanche conditions get safer. I also enjoy linking peaks and doing point-to-point traverses, especially as these sometimes allow for safe mid-Winter adventure. I have done handful of trips to the Pacific Northwest and Alaska in the past few years where I have gotten to ski mountains with more relief and to experience travel in glaciated terrain.
